I recently went to a flute concert by the 4th Street Riddlers Flute Ensemble. I didn't realize that there are six different types of flutes. The sounds that they are capable of making are incredible. The sultry sweet sounds of the alto flute and the nice verbratto of the C Flute were a wonder to hear.
The flute is an incredible instrument, with its rich history and background, it is amazing the range of sounds that can be achieved.
The 4th Street Riddlers Flute Ensemble was a joy to listen to. Their songs carried me away, allowing me to get lost in the melodies and intricate layers.
If you ever have an opportunity to hear them play live, I recommend that you take it.
